Commitment brings amazing favor
As the 2012 year kicks off many of you have already made your resolutions, promises or declarations. I also declared this year as a year full of wisdom and God's amazing favor! However, I know that my personal self-talk and how I thought about situations in 2011 will need to change in 2012 in order for me to have this kind of year. I have to believe that even though my life feels very ordinary and "run of the mill". I can experience God's amazing favor on my life. I just need to be committed to seeing things His way and not mine. Favor comes through God's love for us, but amazing favor comes through obedience and commitment to Him. Psalm 37:5 states, "Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you". If we commit everything to him we will have less worry, stress, anxiety and pain in 2012.
