Does God Care?
As I write this blog, I am thinking about how much God loves and cares for us even if we don't feel it. The prophet, Habakkuk questioned if God cared about His people, because they were suffering under the Babylonian dominant imperial power and cruelty. Habakkuk is one of the twelve minor prophets. A "minor" prophet means the prophet's revelation and report from Lord was short. Habakkuk's first complaint was, "How long, O Lord, shall I cry out and you not listen. Shall I shout to You, "Violence!" And You not save! Habakkuk 1:2" He is asking the Lord, do you care about us? We are suffering! Have you every felt like the LORD wasn't listening to your prayer? Therefore, He doesn't care about you nor loved you? God gave me the words below to share with you. "The Lord, have made a covenant of love. He does not care about you as a mortal cares about you.
