Does God Care?

As I write this blog, I am thinking about how much God loves and cares for us even if we don't feel it.

The prophet, Habakkuk questioned if God cared about His people, because they were  suffering under the Babylonian dominant imperial power and cruelty.  Habakkuk is one of the twelve minor prophets.  A "minor" prophet means the prophet's revelation and report from Lord was short. Habakkuk's  first complaint was, "How long, O Lord, shall I cry out and you not listen. Shall I shout to You, "Violence!" And You not save! Habakkuk 1:2" He is asking the Lord, do you care about us? We are suffering!

Have you every felt like the LORD wasn't listening to your prayer? Therefore, He doesn't care about you nor loved you?  God gave me the words below to share with you.

"The  Lord, have made a covenant of love. He does not care about you as a mortal cares about you. He cares about you vastly more than even you care about yourself. He looks out for your best interests, even if it doesn't feel like.  But, the Lord doesn't look out for you as a friend or a loved one might. He looks out for your wellbeing immeasurably more than you or anyone else could. The Lord  loves you, but not as a person loves another person. God loves you more than anyone could ever love you. If you were to take the most giving, loving individual you have ever known, and multiple that love by ten thousands, ten thousands times, you wouldn't even begin to understand the love that He  has for you. He loves you to an extent that is beyond human circumstances."

If the answer has not come yet, trust and believe that God is working things out. Daniel prayed and fasted for  twenty one days. When  the angel from God came, he said, " Have no fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind to get understanding, practicing abstinence before your God, your prayer was heard, and I have come because of your prayer. However, the prince of the Persian kingdom (Satan: the guardian angel of Persia kingdom) opposed me for twenty-one days; Michael, a prince of the first rank (warrior angel and archangel), has come to my aid, after I was detained there with the kings of Persia. So I have a come to make you understand what is to befall your people in the days to come, for there is yet a vision for those days."  (Parenthesis are mine.)

We must never give up on God; for there is a spiritual battle that is being fought on our behalf that we know nothing about.  But the Lord God, loves and cares for us. Jesus has won the battle against Satan for our souls.  You don't know what and how the prayer battle is fought. But, pray and never give up. Pray until your change comes. The Lord will move heaven and earth for you, because He loves and cares for you, even if it doesn't seem like He does.

It might be hard to see, know, or believe. But God loves and cares for you. Your name is written in the palm of His Hands.

" Now the God of peace will soon crush satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Romans 16:20"
