Around 58 A.D, from the city of Corinth like a skilled lawyer Paul wrote the letter to the Romans. He established the basic concept that all human beings are violators of God's holy law, Paul wrote how we battle between following God's law and our fleshy desires. He offered a solution: the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. He wrote in Romans 6:6,"we know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin." And then in Romans 6:12-13, he writes, " Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give into sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God." He tells us to battle for our life, do not let sin rule over us. Do not be a slave to sin and the weakness of your hu
