2015: Trusting God in the Fire and through the Victory
The year 2015 is here! It is the year of victory, recovery and provision. Genesis 22:13 states that "Abraham raised his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in the bushes by its horns. Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering in place of his son." I remember that there was a time in my life when I didn't know how I would survive living through a tragedy. I was living in a place where there was no provision, no jobs for my skill set or even a support system for my kids and me. I really thought that there was no way to survive this. During this time a friend of mine came to visit me and she sat with me while I was confused, hurt, full of pain and disappointments. However, before she left she gave me hope, a lot of hugs, and then told me about a job opportunity that was 20 miles away from the island I was living on. I had never driven off the island!
