2015: Trusting God in the Fire and through the Victory

The year 2015 is here! It is the year of victory, recovery and provision. Genesis 22:13 states that "Abraham raised his eyes and looked,  and there behind him was a ram caught in the bushes by its horns. Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering in place of his son." I remember that there was a time in my life when I didn't know how I would survive living through a tragedy.  I was living in a place where there was no provision, no jobs for my skill set or even a support system for my kids and me. I really thought that there was no way to survive this. During this time a friend of mine came to visit me and she sat with me while I was confused, hurt, full of pain and disappointments.  However, before she left she gave me hope, a lot of hugs, and then told me about a job opportunity that was 20 miles away from the island I was living on.

I had never driven off the island! But when God calls us to something new or to the place He wants us to be, it often requires us to move or move on. Moving is hard (really hard),  but staying in a situation where your are living in fear, anxiety,  pain and hurt with no way out, is much worst. I prayed and asked God to let me see what I needed to see about this opportunity. After praying I saw the opportunity, I left the island and I moved on.  It wasn't easy to move, but it was necessary for my future.  When God opens our eyes we can see through the pain and discover our destiny.

So, I pray that you are able to see through the situation and see the Ram (the opportunity)  that is beyond what you could ever imagine or think waiting for you. Please don't be afraid of the unknown. Whenever you begin something new the future is unknown. However, if your life is built on a bedrock of faith then when you go through the rain, the flood waters, the storms of life you will not collapse because it is built on your faith in Jesus, the Solid Rock.

Remember our God, He is El' Roi ( The God who sees). He is also Adonai Yir'eh (Jehovah Jireh),  the LORD  who will see to it that you have that Ram (opportunity), and provide for your every need. He is El' Nissi (God our Victory) and He has the power to rescue us, restore us and bring us to the Victory in 2015 for He is El' Shaddai (God Almighty)!!!
In the year of 2015,  walk in integrity at all times, live an uncompromising obedient life, and follow the path that God has for you even if it requires for you to move on.
