Valuing Yourself - You are the hidden treasure
44 “ The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. " Matthew 13:44 (NASB) People do not determine your value and your worth. You are a hidden treasure in this world and no one can give you your worth. Your value was determine by the Creator, God Himself. We often look to other people to say that we are okay and that we are beautiful or not. But God tells us in Psalm 139:14 that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Fearfully means that he carefully formed us to be just the way he wanted us to be. Every time we reject a part of us we are saying, "God you did not do this right, I should of being made a different way." But God is your creator and he made you as a reflection of the beauty He sees in His eyes. He has joy over you.
