Know who is in the boat of life with you!

The boat of life L uke 8:22-25, " One day Yeshua (Jesus) got into a boat with his disciples and said to them, "Let's cross to the other side of the lake.So they set out; and as they were sailing, he fell asleep. A windstorm came down on the lake, so that the boat began to fill up with water, putting them in great danger. They went and woke him, saying "Rabbi! Rabbi! We're about to die!" He woke up, rebuked the wind and the rough water; and they calmed down, so that it was still. Then he said to the disciples, "Where is your trust?" Awestruck, they marveled, asking one another, "Who can this be, that he commands even the wind and the water, and they obey him? (CJB) In Luke 8:23-25; A storm is raging and the disciples are afraid. However, the disciples knew Jesus was in the boat with them. Their boat was filling with water and their lives were in danger. They went to Jesus and woke him up, saying “Rabbi, Rabbi we are about to die!” 

Strength and Courage: Expecting a Deliverer

This has been a tough year with many changes personally and  across the globe. Disasters, confusion, foolish men and women that are proud of what they ought to be ashamed of. If I didn’t know any better, I would think that I am dreaming and got stuck in the twilight zone. But this is our world today. It is a different world than any other. Some people have no moral compass, are ruthless, merciless and their hatred is so intense that they march to the drumbeat of deception and death. I really didn't expect some leader to come out against this chaos and deliver us. There is no man/woman who can truly deliver you from chaos that is going on in this world or  see you through your own chaotic world.  Among all this chaos I found  strength and courage that I didn't realize that I had before, and I've learned to take it one day at a time.    Are you expecting someone to deliver you from your own chaotic world?
