You can have a better life!

You can have a better life by changing your heart and your environment. Psalm 36:1 states "Sin lurks deep in the hearts of the wicked, forever urging them on to evil deeds. They have no fear of God to hold them back.  Instead, in their conceit they think they can hid their evil deeds and not get caught." 

When you are surrounded by evil women and men you may find yourself caught up in their evil acts. However, if you will make up your mind today to turn back from them and go with God, your life will change for the better.  Someone once said, "Evil prevails when good men do nothing."  We saw this in the news this week over and over again.  Don't sit idle by and watch evil happen.  Remove yourself from them.  Remove yourself from negative people who brings death and destruction to your soul.  Some of you may need to get rid of  a friend or two!  Especially, if they tear you down and crush your spirit over and over again.  Evil people lie awake at night to hatch their evil plots instead of planning how to keep away from wrong.  You have to plan to keep away from wrong! You cannot negotiate with Evil; You need to run from it! The Bible is clear that we are to flee from the Devil and that includes evil people who act like the devil.

God is good and his mercy is good forever, but you can circumvent God's blessings by surrounding yourself with the wrong people.  The Scripture tells us, "Great is the Lord who enjoys helping his child!"  Psalm 120:1 states, "I call on the Lord in my distress, and he answers me." But how can He help you if you refuse to listen to Him?

You can rely on God to see you through, but you have to make the first move. You may have to walk along for a little bit, but remember Eagles fly alone rising over every storm that they encounter.

Don't put off tomorrow what you can do today.  Begin today to purposefully and intentionally change your heart and your environment so that you can have a better life.  Then begin to prepare for it! Do what it takes to succeed. An effective plan is not executed without hard work.  Believe the Lord for new beginnings; new work; new friends and a better life!

The Reward of Persistent Prayer

    [Jeremiah 29:12-13 (CJB)]: "When you call to me and pray to me, I will listen to you. When you seek me, you will find me, provided you seek from me wholeheartedly;" Dear Ladies, I write this blog with you and the many prayers that you have prayed in mind. God Doesn't Err and Trouble Doesn't Last Always

Your life has many winding roads and complicated stops.   Jesus said, "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world (John 16:33)." When you read the verse, your thought might be, "If Jesus has overcome the world, why does my world feels so broken?" In t he circle of life we have beginnings, endings, and everything in between.  The ebbs  and flows of life bring waters of both joy and pain.
