Your God May Not Fix this, But Our Father Will!

A family's  worst nightmare is to lose a loved one senselessly at the hands of another person.  I know because our family lost our Aunt this way. Nothing can bring that person back.  Deciding who should or could fix it does nothing but pour salt into a wounded heart.  If you don't expect God to fix it, please don't blame Him for it.

Besides, when the media uses the word "God" who are they referring to? Different people from various different religious background say "God".  Usually they are not referring to the same God.  So when the New York Daily News said "God won't fix this" my question is what God are they referring to?

I can guarantee you that they are NOT talking about the God I know. They write about God as "something or someone" to fix it, but not God as Father. The Lord Jesus in Matthew 6:1(NLT) say we should pray this way, "Our Father may your name be kept holy."  He never said to pray, "Our God" in heaven.  Jesus said when we pray to Him affectionately refer to Him as our Heavenly Father.  Noticed the headline did not say, "Our Father won't fix this". They don't know the Heavenly Father. Mankind have always tried to destroy God's name and reputation.  And if God won't fix it then how is it possible for a man who cannot create a star, mountain, river, water, air or himself can truly fix it once and for all!

Those of us who believe that Jesus is LORD know God as The Father, The Almighty, Powerful, Eternal God. The Creator of all things. The Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent God.

Jesus said "Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (NASB Matt 10:28)

The Evil one can destroy the body, but he cannot destroy the body and the soul. Only God has the power to do so. When we give people the opportunity to have eternal life through Jesus Christ, death has no sting, no victory, and their spirit and soul lives forever.  Their presence will indeed be missed here among us, AND no amount of blame can bring them back.

Remember: Evil will not last always!

Praying for our protection yet knowing we are in His Care!
