Drive The Enemy Out

"18 Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so all will go well with you. Then you will enter and occupy the good land that the Lord swore to give your ancestors.19 You will drive out all the enemies living in the land, just as the Lord said you would. " Deuteronomy 6:18-19

The knowledge that the LORD will drive my archenemy, Satan, out my life gives me comfort and victory. We are not the same when the LORD drives the Enemy of darkness, and sin out. I was living with the Enemy. Day after day there was a battle going on and some days the battle left scars on my heart, mind and soul.  And, I know that suffering is difficult to explain. However, it is impossible for my finite mind to understand an infinite God. But, I will keep doing what is right no matter what may come. I have victory over Satan through my prayers, a life dedicated to Christ, and my faith and belief in the one True God.  With the help of the Lord, I took back what the Enemy stole from me. In some cases, I received what my eyes could not see and my mind could not imagine. I received more than double blessings from God. I received restoration beyond what was broken, and a new life.

The Enemy will not prevail against you! The Lord has fought on your behalf, as He said He would. I do know that it is impossible to receive all of your blessings while you are living in the Enemy's camp. If you serve Satan with your lifestyle, talent, gifts, resources then he is no longer your enemy, but your companion.

He is evil, and has one goal; to kill, steal and destroy your life. He wins when you let him. Think about it. Has sin and evil ever given you true victory or has it left you with despair, losses that you can't recover, heartache, brokenness, bitterness, unforgiveness, hungry, homeless, and heavy in debt? Just to name a few.  Do what is right and good in the LORD's sight, so all will go well with you.  Cling to, serve, and worship Him. It is like losing weight. There are no short cuts or magic tricks. It requires eating right, exercising, and adopting a new lifestyle for the rest of your life. The battle is not over, but the war has been won with a weapon the Enemy could not stop, our Lord's shed blood on the cross. Serving God is a lifestyle, and a mind, soul and heart change for all the rest of your life and all eternity.

Prayer: May it be Your will, O Lord our God, our King, that I become accustomed to walk in the way of Your Commandments, and to cling to Your precepts. Let me not be led into sin or transgression and iniquity, or into temptation or disgrace; let not the impulse toward evil rule over me and my family; deliver us from evil men , bad friends and from mishaps and destructive influences, from difficult litigation  and stubborn litigant, and worthless companions; and help us cling to the impulse toward good and to good deeds. Bend our will to Yours.  Give us this day and every day grace, favor, and mercy - in Your sight and in the sight of all men, and bestow upon us Your loving kindness and heavenly blessings. Bless you O Lord, our King; in Jesus' Name I pray and ask.

Blessings from the Heavenlies,
