GOOD NEWS!

The Word is the Good News which has been proclaimed to you. I Peter 1:25

  1. I have Good News for you! According to the Word of God you have been ransomed and set free from evil men and worthless companions! You should be aware that the ransom paid to free you from the worthless way of life was the costly blood sacrificial death of Jesus, the Messiah. You have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heaven. In the Messiah, God chose you in love before the creation of the universe to be holy and without defect in His presence.

Here’s a little advice.  As one who obey God, do not let yourselves be shaped by the evil desires you use to have. Become holy in your entire way of life, since God tells us to be holy because He is holy. If you don’t mix holy with unholy things expect God to bless the hands of your work.  Pay careful attention to how you conduct your life – live wisely, not unwisely. Use your time well, for these are evil days. Don’t be foolish but try to understand what the will of the Lord is. Don’t let the sun go down until you have dealt with the cause of your anger; otherwise you leave room for the Adversary, Satan to come into your life. Ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will in all the wisdom and understanding which the Spirit gives; so that you may live life worthy of the Lord and entirely pleasing to him. Always be humble, kind,  gentle and patient. Always give thanks for everything to God!

More Good News: God is light and there is no darkness in him -none! From the treasure of His Glory he will empower you with inner strength by his Spirit. Your life is rooted and founded in love. You have the strength to grasp the breadth, length, height and depth of the Messiah’s love, and be filled with all the fullness of God and remain deeply rooted. The Lord is worthy of trust; he will guard you from the Evil One. God will restore, establish and strengthen you and make you firm. You are strong and you have overcome the Evil One!
Prayer: Thank you Lord for the Good News! Thank you for all you have and will do for me and my family. Thank for the grace, mercy and love you have given us. Thank you for restoring, redeeming, establishing and strengthening  me to make me firmly stand against the wiles of the Evil one.  I pray that you will fill me with the knowledge of your will and help me to be all that you have ordained for me to be.  In Jesus' Precious Name I ask and pray, Amen!
For the Kingdom of God,
Pastor Patricia
