Grace Is Built To Last Forever

My husband and I are both Computer Scientists by profession. We both have our M.B.A.s and M.S. in Computer Science degrees. I have been bi-vocational for over 40 years, working both in ministry and in the field of Science and Technology, where I was a Leader on  numerous research and development projects.  There is a book that came from our leadership training and M.B.A. courses, called  "Built to Last". The book is about 18 great companies that had CEOs who were Visionaries and built a company that would last. I have worked for 3 of those major companies (IBM, Motorola and GE) on the list.  Almost half of the visionary companies on the list have slipped dramatically in performance and reputation, and have faced serious questions about their leadership and strategy.  No man on earth can build anything that will last forever! No matter how intelligent and wise they may be. We cannot put our trust in people or companies. The only thing that is built to last forever is what is given to us by God. For example Paul tells us that the gifts and calling on our lives by God are irrevocable. That means they last forever! The Psalmist writes,  "I will sing about ADONAI's acts of grace forever, with my mouth proclaim your faithfulness to all generations; because I said, "Grace is built to last forever; in the heavens themselves you established your faithfulness." Psalm 89:1 (CJB)

No matter what may happen or you may do, when you ask for forgiveness, He will forgive you, over and over again. He doesn't only give us second chances, but He gives us many chances to start again, believe again and trust again. His favor, faithfulness, forgiveness and amazing grace on your life is irrevocable and it is indeed built to last forever! If you trust Him for the impossible, he will do the impossible all by and through His grace.  Trust Him one more time. Believe Him one more time and wait for Him one more time. He will not falter. His reputation and performance is not at risk, and there are no questions about His leadership or His strategy against your Adversary (Satan).  The victory was won for your life. He rescued you out of the domain of darkness and transferred you into the kingdom of His precious Son, Christ our Lord!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,  thank you that your grace on my life is built to last forever and all eternity. You have transferred me out of the domain of darkness into your Son's Kingdom to keep me safe from the Enemy. Thank you for all you have done and all you will do.   In Jesus Name, Amen!

By His Grace,
Pastor Patricia
