Hope in spite of the trials

"I have said these things to you so that, united with me, you may have shalom (peace). In the world, you have trouble. But be brave! I have conquered the world! John 16:33"

The last two and half years have been surprising, hopeful, yet difficult and troubling.  There are times that we do not know where this life will take us. I learned that the LORD, our God, will work within the trials that are caused by the broken world we live in.

We were promised by Jesus that we would have trials and tribulations in our lives. He told us to be brave!

Jesus said to his disciples, who scattered, each one looking out for himself, and left him all alone, "Yet, I am not alone; because the Father is with me." Don't let yourself be upset or frightened. Don't let yourself be disturbed. Trust in God. You might battle a rough sea and a headwind of things in your life that seems to be beyond your control.  But, the Lord is with you. Do not allow your struggles blind you from seeing the miracles in your life that He is doing.

The birds still sing, the beautiful sky is still here, and hope will never leave us.

Blessings forevermore,
Dr. Patricia McNair
