Restored to Life

Restored to Life

"But when Jesus heard it, He answered, "Do not be afraid, " only believe, and she will be made well." Luke 8:50 (NKJV)
There was a Jewish girl whose father was a leader of the synagogue. His named was Jairus. His job was to looked after the synagogue, its content and its arrangement for worship. He fell down at Jesus' feet and begged Him to come to his house, for he had an only daughter about twelve years of age, and she was dying. Jarius was a Jewish leader. He was not suppose to believe in Jesus Christ. It was against his faith. But he also was a good father, who cared for his daughter more than he cared about his job.  The minute Jarius left his job of caring for the synagogue to seek the Healer was the minute He gave up His old life! He could not hold on to that and go to Jesus. He had to make a decision. He gave up his old life to bring the Healer to his daughter. And, everything changed when Jesus came. However, while Jairus was waiting on Jesus someone came and brought him bad news in the middle of his hope. But, before that bad news could sink into his head and soul, Jesus spoke these words, "Do not be afraid,  only believe and she will be well."

Are you in a dire situation? Are you holding on to something or someone that is causing you to remain in your old life.  The place of "no where".  That person or thing can not deliver you from your present situation or bring you life. Do not be afraid to leave your old life and believe in a new life, a good life and a redeeming life.  When we go to Jesus everything changes!  Only you can really tell him what is going on in your life.  So go to him and ask him to rescue you. Do not be afraid of tomorrow or even what might happen. Only believe and the situation will be well.

I want you to know that Jesus gave up everything including His life to save you, redeem you, restore you and rescue you from the Evil One. He speaks life! No man or woman, fame or fortune is worth dying inside or losing your soul.

Blessings and Hope;
Pastor Patricia
