Deliver Me By The Power Of Your Name!

“God, deliver me by your name; in your power, vindicate me. God, hear my prayer; listen to the words from my mouth”. Psalm 54:1-2 CJB

When you use the Name of the Lord the Heavens opens up to your request, because you recognize that only he can truly help you and there is no one else. This Psalm of David is a prayer and a cry to deliver him from the enemy’s attacks. God is the defender of his people, and victory comes by His Power ( his name). When you sign your name to legal documents, it gives the power and authority to act accordingly. When you sign your prayers with the Name of Jesus, it gives a greater power and authority to your request. It it is executed by the power of His Name. When you pray follow the example of our Lord Jesus in  John 17:11-12.  He prayed to our Holy Heavenly Father. “Now I am no longer in the world. They are in the world, but I am  coming to you. Holy Father, guard them by the power of your name, which you have given to me, so that they may be one, just as we are. When I was with them, I guarded them by the power of your name, which you have given to me; yes, I kept watch over them; .. CJB

He asked the Father to protect us from the Evil One and set us apart for holiness, by means of the truth. His word is truth. His Name has the power and authority! The Name of Jesus, will protect, rescue, defend and deliver you. It is important for you to end your prayers with, “In the Name of Jesus. I pray and ask.” You are asking for your request to be accomplished by His power. The power that cannot fail.

Prayer: By the Power of Your Name, deliver us from sickness, disease, generational curses, poverty and the Evil One. In Jesus Matchless and Holy Name I pray and ask!
