Determined to go to my destiny
Ruth said to Naomi these words; "Don't press me to leave you and stop following you; for wherever you go, I will go; and wherever you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God will be my God. Where you die, I will die; and there I will be buried. May ADONAI bring terrible curses on me, and worse ones as well, if anything but death separates you and me." Ruth 1:14-17 (CJB)
Ruth was determined to go with Naomi to Bethlehem. She did not know that her destiny was there. She only knew that it was not in Dihon, Moab. A place of false truths, false gods and false hope. She had the wisdom, discernment, and knowledge to know that living in a world of darkness and pretentiousness could not bring a future of hope, success and blessings. She was determined to go to a better place. She had had enough and nothing would make her stay. The Enemy's plan is to destroy God' plans for you. Thankfully, God is in control and as a believer I know when I pray, he hears me and provides a protective shield around me. When I listen and obey him I receive the knowledge to know what the next steps are to the path of my destiny. Like Ruth, I don't know all the details, but I know that I trust him and where He goes, I shall go and if he stays, I will stay. I walk with him and I am very aware of when he is moving in my life. I live by trust, not by what I see. Relying on God, will put the right people in your path that they may help you safely reach your destiny. Knowing the movement of God will help you through the good and bad times. It will keep you from making life-changing mistakes that are detrimental to your future. For example, today's overspending is tomorrow's debt. Today's choice is tomorrow's consequences (good or bad).
Let me encourages you today: Ruth became the great grandmother of King David. And she is in the genealogy of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. "Salmon was the father of Boaz (his mother was Rahab), Boaz was the father of Obed (his mother was Ruth), Obed was the father of Jesse, Jesse was the father of David the king." Matthew 1:5-6"
God loves you and he hurts every time you break his laws of life. Sometimes he even allows his permissive will in your life, but it is not his perfect will. He is loving, forgiving and compassionate. Therefore, when you confess he forgives, and your sins are remember no more. Today you can walk in the path of your destiny. God will ensure that you will not be hindered by those who may wish to stop you from reaching your destiny. The LORD will make provision for you to successfully arrive to your destination, even if he has to re-calculate you. Let God re-calculate you today and give him all of you. Renew your mind daily through prayer. Worship the LORD your God, and serve only him. Let nothing separate you from the love of God. He is waiting for you to surrender everything to him.
Prayer: Dear Lord, Giver of life and breath, I need you today. I want your perfect will for my life! For You are my Rock, my fortress and my deliver in times of trouble. You are the light into my path. Give me the strength to let me choose you. In any area of my life that Satan has deceived me, let it be revealed to me. Instead, let your truth be revealed. I want to live by trust and not by what I see. I renew my covenant with you today, and it is in you that I take refuge when the cares of this life grow too heavy to bear. You are my shield in every battle, my stronghold when I must rest, and the strength of my salvation. I entrust my life and my loved ones into your care. Save me, keep me and protect me. In Your Son, Jesus our Lord name I pray and ask, Amen!
For His Kingdom,
Pastor Patricia
